Milestone
In 2014, Titipong Pisitwuttinan and Ekachat Assavarujikul recognized the barriers to education faced by the Thai population. They founded SkillLane and launched www.SkillLane.com, an online learning platform for the general public (SkillLane for Public). SkillLane offers a wide range of content and knowledge across various categories, taught by experts from diverse fields.
In 2018, SkillLane pioneered SkillLane for Business, the online learning platform for corporate clients. This initiative aims to help organizations upskill and reskill their employees, enabling them to adapt to changing job requirements and constant transformations in the workplace. Additionally, it enhances the capabilities of organizational personnel in line with each company's specific objectives.
In 2019, SkillLane pioneered SkillLane for Online Degrees, the platform for online degrees. The company collaborated with Thammasat University to offer online master's degree programs under the "TUXSA" (Thammasat University x SkillLane Academy) project. This initiative expands educational opportunities, allowing the general public access to university knowledge without being confined to physical classrooms or needing to be enrolled as Thammasat University students. Additionally, it addresses the challenges faced by individuals who wish to pursue a master's degree but have time and travel constraints.
In 2020, SkillLane pioneered SkillLaneCPD the online training platform for earning professional development hours, enabling licensed professionals to complete their required training online and easily renew their licenses. The platform initially focused on licenses for life and non-life insurance brokers and agents, investment advisors, financial planners, and investment analysts.
In 2023, the company began developing a Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance its capabilities in providing platform and online training services to corporate clients.
In 2024, in addition to expanding our current businesses, the company is in the process of establishing educational consulting and innovation development business under SkillLane Innovation. This new venture specializes in creating cutting-edge learning management systems, including platform, applications, software, and related tools.
